Staghound Armoured Car

First Delivered to Australia in 1943 the Staghound saw service in the 1st Armoured Car Squadron as part of the British Occupational Force in Japan. Post War the Staghound usually replaced both Matilda and Grant tanks in Citizen Military Force Units. The vehicles remained in service till 1970 (Source: Wikipedia 2024).

 "Kamaria the training enemy in this instance, required some form of armoured / reconnaissance to support the Raider Battalion. Otherwise they would have appeared in their normal Australian Militia Reconnaissance Troop role on the table pre 1970's with White Scout Cars.
